Start With A Free Inspection, Then Begin The Claims Process.
Contact your insurance company to inform them that you are initiating a claim for your structure’s elevation service.
You will receive your insurance paperwork in approximately 5-10 business days. Tip: Ask for an electronic version of your claim, this will speed up the process.
Upon receiving your claim proceeds and estimate, contact your Roof Repair Squad Representative. Have a copy of the entire claim paperwork ready for your representative.
Your representative will review your claim and ensure you get a fair assessment. We'll walk you through your contractual agreement and ensure you're being covered.
The homeowner is then only responsible for the deductible; the insurance company will cover the remaining amount agreed upon to replace your roof.
A date will be scheduled to replace your roof. Material will be delivered just before work is to be performed. Most jobs will be completed in one day (weather permitting).
Final payment is due until the work is completed and you are completely satisfied.
Elevating a residential structure is tied directly with the home slab size. A more detailed estimate for your home elevation can be provided.
That is unnecessary. Many jurisdictions will not issue a repair/remodel permit until your home is elevated above the floodplain. If your jurisdiction permits it, we encourage you to do everything necessary to restore your home life. The elevation process is non-intrusive and no contents need to be removed.
Ensure your list of deliverables and final costs is highly detailed before you sign or pay anything. Do not allow yourself to be pressured into hasty action. A sound process yields a sound elevation experience.
